PDC Premier league.

The PDC Premier league of darts is one of the most exciting televised sporting events around – with crowds of between 3 – 11,000 darts fans being part of each night.  Sky sports show each event live – usually on Sky sports 1, 7-10:30pm, each Thursday (see fixtures for full info).  This years viewing figures are the best soo far.

The current format is 8 players (made up of the top 6 money ranks PDC players, plus two ‘wild card’ entries – on form exciting players), who play each other in a league format in best of 14 leg games.  Draws oof 7-7 are possible – 1 point, and a win is 2 points.  The fans our loud and rowdy, so the games are played in a high pressure  arena.
